Requirements for tests
Ergometry:
- Informed consent previously signed by the patient
- Rubber-soled footwear
- Habitual medical treatment specified in writing
- No eating or drinking for 2 hours before the test
Pharmacological stress echocardiography:
- Informed consent previously signed by the patient
- Habitual medical treatment specified in writing
- Previous medical reports from your normal doctor
- No eating or drinking after 9 a.m.
Transoesophageal echocardiography:
- Informed medical consent previously signed by the patient
- Habitual medical treatment specified in writing
- Previous medical reports from your normal doctor
- No eating or drinking after 9 a.m.
Electrical cardioversion:
- Informed consent previously signed by the patient
- No eating or drinking after midnight of the night before the test
- INR test performed no more than 3 days before the test.
ACCORDING TO THE REGULATIONS ISSUED BY THE VALENCIA REGIONAL GOVERNMENT REGARDING THE PERFORMANCE OF THESE TESTS, THE PATIENT MUST BE IN POSSESSION OF THE INFORMED CONSENT FORM AT LEAST TWENTY-FOUR HOURS BEFORE THE TEST IS PERFORMED AND MUST SUBMIT IT, DULY COMPLETED, TOGETHER WITH THE MEDICAL REQUEST ON THE DAY OF THE TEST.
