Intensive Care Unit
The Intensive Care Unit at Clínica Vistahermosa is situated on the first floor and it has:
- Five individual bays for hospitalisation.
- Procedures room: annex to the unit, where procedures and complementary examinations are performed (scheduled cardioversion, central venous catheterisation in patients not admitted to ICU, pleural drainage, pericardiocentesis, stress echocardiography, etc.).
The unit has modular monitoring that is prepared for maintaining patients under complete haemodynamic surveillance and a set of 6 respirators (mechanical ventilation).
The department also has a meeting room, offices, an information room for relatives, the pharmacy store and the office.
Visiting times for relatives:
- 12 noon to 1 p.m.
- 6 to 7 p.m.
The Unit has the necessary resources for patient surveillance and intensive care, including:
- Pulse oximetry
- Haemodiafiltration
- Temporary cardiac stimulation
