Outpatient surgery
After providing your details, you will be given an informed consent form, which you must read and sign prior to surgery.
You will be collected from the main lobby and accompanied to the changing rooms, where you will be provided with disposable clothing ready to enter the operating theatre.
You may leave you belongings in a locker.
If necessary, you may stay in the recovery area for a short while before going home.
We advise you:
- To bring comfortable clothing.
- To avoid bringing valuables with you, and should you do so, leave them with your companion.
- After surgery you cannot drive your own vehicle. Your specialist or anaesthetist will tell you when you can drive again.
