General and Laparoscopic Surgery
We have a team of surgeons who specialise in the most advanced surgical techniques, in both open and laparoscopic surgery.
Laparoscopy consists of making three or four small incisions in the patient, through which cannulas are inserted to perform the intervention without the need to "open" the patient. This technique enables us to reduce the duration of hospitalisation, the possibility of complications and postoperative pain.
At present, the latest technique consists of using mini-instruments that make it possible to perform surgery with incisions three times smaller than with conventional laparoscopy. One of these procedures is known as SILS surgery, which consists of performing the laparoscopic procedure through a single incision in the umbilicus.
